Recipes can be as complicated as necessary; there is no fixed limit as to the
amount of information a recipe can hold.
Special attention should be taken in the Ingredients table. It has been pointed out to us that, as recipes are multiplied, not all ingredients follow a straight multiplication rule. For this reason, we offer our users a place to put those quantities. If quantities are straight multiplications, the user simply leaves the fields empty. We have included areas for recipe Instructions, Associated Menu items, Utensils and Staff requirements. These are all optional and do not have to be used. It is up to the user to decide what is relevant. The more information that is provided, the more detail is reported in the production module.. Any field that is used will be the base calculation figure for production needs. |
