Microsoft Internet Explorer

Introduction

Welcome to the World Wide Web (www).  The Internet Explorer is but one of several softwares you can use to access the internet.  Some other popular choices for browsing is Netscape Navigator and AOL, although with AOL you do need an account with them.

It is usually a good idea to keep this program up to date.  As versions change regularly, you might want to make the update page a favorite.  Their address is http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

To find out what version you are working with, go to your 'Help' menu option and choose 'About Internet Explorer'.  A dialog box will open and all the information about your version will be displayed.
